Job Specifications

Job Title: API standards lead

Duration: long-term contract

Location: Hybrid (x2 days in a week to Sheffield)

Visa: No sponsorship available/ No PSW

This role plays a key part in shaping the future of API standards, aligning tooling, and ensuring a strong customer-centric and controls-led approach across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Own and evolve API standards in collaboration with engineering, architecture, risk, and other key stakeholders.
Lead and facilitate product planning and prioritisation to deliver against a clear future vision for API standards and aligned tooling.
Define, align, and communicate product roadmaps to internal customers and stakeholders.
Run and facilitate customer forums to gather feedback and drive continuous improvement of API standards.
Champion the use of data, metrics, and insights to understand customer behaviour and product adoption.

Key Skills & Experience

Strong experience in product ownership, product planning, and roadmap management.
Proven development team leadership experience.
Experience working within a technology controls or regulated environment.
