What you will be doing as the Senior Data Reporting Analyst:

Support our Workers’ Compensation reporting.
Analyze monthly Unit Statistical Reports to correct data and ensure reporting accuracy
Effectively utilizes reporting procedures that designate the use of checklists and submission logs.
Collects and analyzes data for validity and accuracy in preparation of assigned reports.
Develops and maintains department databases and assesses quality of data used in reports.
Develop knowledge of data sources content and structure to assess the quality of data.
Use Workers’ Compensation reporting knowledge to educate underwriters and claim adjusters on requirements. Identify and make recommendations for resolution of identified issues in data and reporting quality.
Utilizes department / company software to prepare moderately complex data queries.
Develops understanding of industry products/coverages and applies that knowledge to support business activity.
Performs other duties as assigned.

What you will need as the Senior Data Reporting Analyst:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
3 or more years of related experience in data reporting required, 5 or more years preferred.
Must have Workers’ Compensation experience.
Experience in the insurance industry preferred.
Knowledge of reporting and data analysis tools such as Excel & SQL. Knowledge of Unit Statistical Reports and Indemnity Data Call submissions to NCCI and other reporting bureaus.
Excellent analytical skills; have a high level of attention to detail.
Strong planning and organizing skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Strong self-starter, balanced with a desire to achieve team goals.
