Job Title: Senior Product Designer
Job Location: Remote / minimum 1 day in the office (Sunbury-on-Thames) fortnightly
Contract Length: 6 Months (possibility of extension)

Role Overview:
The Senior Product Designer for Dynamo will play a critical role in shaping the design of a complex, safety-critical digital product used in high-risk operational environments. This role is responsible for leading end-to-end product design across Dynamo’s platform, balancing usability, compliance, and operational realities to deliver intuitive, robust experiences for frontline users, supervisors, and enterprise stakeholders. Working closely with Product Management, Engineering and Customers, the Senior Product Designer will drive product discovery, translate complex workflows into clear and usable solutions, and ensure Dynamo delivers measurable value to customers while meeting regulatory and safety requirements. The role also contributes to the evolution of Dynamo’s design system, mentors other designers, and raises the overall standard of product quality and user-centred thinking across the organisation.

Translating user, business, and regulatory needs into actionable design solutions Enterprise & Safety-Critical Context
Designing for safety-critical use cases where errors have real-world consequences Understanding trade-offs between usability, compliance, and operational risk
Designing scalable solutions for multiple industries and customer contexts Collaboration & Leadership
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Ability to influence product direction and prioritisation through evidence-based design
Running design critiques and contributing to design standards and best practices Tools & Craft
Expert proficiency in Figma and related collaboration tools
Experience contributing to and evolving design systems
Clear documentation and storytelling of design rationale for technical and non-technical audiences
What you will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Experience as a Product Designer / UX Designer on digital products
Proven experience designing complex B2B or enterprise software
Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design work, including discovery, problem framing, and shipped outcomes
Experience working on products with constraints such as compliance, safety, or regulation (desirable)
Experience working in agile, cross-functional product teams

End-to-end product design across web and mobile applications
Ability to simplify complex workflows, data, and operational processes
Strong interaction design, information architecture, and usability skills
Visual design skills with a focus on clarity, consistency, and accessibility
Experience designing for frontline / operational users in real-world environments
Discovery & Problem Solving
Leading and contributing to product discovery and design sprints
User research planning, synthesis, and insight generation
