Position Details

Role: Business Analyst 5

Location: Hybrid – Dimondale, MI (Local candidates only – within 2 hours)

Duration: 12+ Months (Possible Extension)

Visa: USC/GC Only

Interview: In-person at Headquarters (F2F/Webcam initial)

No remote-only option. Candidate must be onsite from Day 1 (2–5 days per week at manager’s discretion).

Top Skills & Experience Required

Minimum 12+ years as a true Business Analyst
8+ years eliciting business requirements and translating them into detailed technical design documents in partnership with architects
Strong expertise reviewing technical designs for completeness, accuracy, and quality standards
Experience in responsive design and human-centric application development
Proven ability to identify system gaps and design effective technical solutions
Strong Agile/Hybrid SDLC experience (Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall familiarity)
Knowledge of DevOps practices, APIs, cloud computing, middleware, and enterprise integrations
Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across all levels
Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language
Bridge gaps between business requirements and technical limitations
Lead requirement discussions with developers and architects
Analyze project data and drive solution-based decisions
Evaluate build vs. buy decisions
Assess modernization of legacy systems vs. new application builds
Mentor junior Business Analysts and lead cross-functional initiatives
