Senior Software Engineer – Angular, Java, AWS

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis. For our W2 consultants, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage.

Employment Type: W2 only (consultants must be willing to work under our W2)
Visa: Open to all work authorizations
No C2C / No Third Parties
Location: Must be local To Merrimack, NH/ Smithfield, Rhode Island
Work Model: Hybrid – 2 Weeks Onsite (Alternate Weeks), 2 Weeks Remote

About the Role

We’re hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join a high-impact engineering team working on enterprise-grade platforms that support large-scale data integration, API development, and modern web applications.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in development, works comfortably across multiple teams, and can own features end-to-end—from UI to backend to cloud deployment.

You’ll collaborate with multiple technical leads and contribute directly to architecture, design, and delivery.

Must-Have Skills

Angular (recent hands-on experience required)
Initial focus will be integrating and extending pre-built components
Java & Spring Boot
API development (producer APIs)
AWS Cloud
Strong experience across core AWS services
ETL / Data Integration Exposure
Primarily API-driven, within a data-focused engineering team
Strong communication & critical thinking
Regular collaboration across multiple engineering teams

Nice-to-Have Skills

Python
Karate (API testing)
Batch processing
PostgreSQL / PGAdmin
Insomnia or similar API tools

Engineering Environment

Angular (17+)
Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs
AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or equivalent)
GitHub with PR-based workflows
Agile / Scrum delivery model

Proven experience collaborating across multiple teams
Strong ownership mindset and clean engineering practices
