A leading global systematic hedge fund is hiring a Market Data Engineer to build and scale the tick-level data infrastructure that powers systematic research and trading across global markets.

You’ll play a key role in designing and developing high-performance tick data pipelines, enabling fast and reliable access to market data across multiple asset classes. The role also involves delivering high-quality datasets into the firm’s backtesting environment, as well as implementing robust monitoring and data quality checks across business-critical pipelines. You’ll work closely with front office to ensure the firm’s research and trading teams have seamless access to accurate, granular market data.

Tech stack: Python, NumPy/Pandas, (C++ a plus).

The firm is looking for engineers with strong Python skills and experience working with large-scale market data. A deep understanding of financial market structure, including Level 2/Level 3 tick data, exchange protocols, and concepts such as NBBO and dark pools, would be highly valued.
