The opportunity

Reporting into the Sr Manager, Sales - Key Accounts, the Representative, Key Accounts is responsible for their assigned accounts, maintaining and developing new business. They are responsible for selling, upselling and maintaining relationships with their client base. They contribute to executing company sales plan, targets and initiatives to achieve sales growth. This is a replacement contract role for an approximate duration of 16 months.

The role

Sales and Customer Service

Present, promote and sell our products and seasonal programs
Generate and review orders and ensure follow-up
Plan and organize customer visits and meetings, both remote and in person
Present products and promos to customers based on the promotional calendar
Complete seasonal forecasts
Identify and evaluate customer needs to achieve customer satisfaction
Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments

Business Development

Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Generate leads to develop business and generate new client base;
Upselling to current account base
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments

Administration

Process and follow up on payments
Request billing and PO information
Open accounts and send credit forms
Liaise between customers and customer service operations/credit to resolve issues, if needed (i.e.:credit, availability status, etc.)

Other

Participate in regional and national sales meetings
Complete all other tasks and projects as required, as the business continues to grow and expand

The requirements

Post secondary diploma in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or a related field. Bachelor's degree preferred
3-5 years of experience in account management, preferably in the apparel, retail or manufacturing industry
Sales experience with National Accounts
Sound knowledge and understanding of innerwear products
Proven negotiation skills
Customer oriented
Organizational and prioritization skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong presentation skills
Attentive to detail
MS Office Proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Written/verbal communication and listening
Strong interpersonal and relationship skills

Bilingual English / French is an asset.
