Position Name – Azure Data Engineer

Location – Brampton, ON (100% onsite)

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Azure.
Implement data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other Azure services.
Build and manage data lakes and data warehouses using Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, and Synapse Analytics.
Ensure data quality and consistency through robust data validation and cleansing processes.
Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for performance and cost efficiency.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows to ensure reliability and performance.

Must Have:

Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Azure technologies.
Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure SQL Data Warehouse.
Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
Experience with Python, PySpark or Scala for data processing.
Hands on with any reporting tool.
