Job Description
Job Title: Chief Product & Marketing Officer (CPMO) Role Summary: Executive leader responsible for shaping and executing integrated product and marketing strategy to drive sustainable revenue growth, profitability, and commercial performance across lending, deposits and current accounts. Coordinates product lifecycle, pricing, distribution and brand initiatives while ensuring compliance with risk, regulatory and budget constraints. Expectations: Deliver measurable commercial outcomes aligned with the organization’s strategic plan; maintain regulatory and risk‑aware operations; lead a high‑performance commercial team; provide clear, data‑driven executive reporting. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and govern product vision, strategy, roadmap and lifecycle across deposits, lending, payments and associated services. • Own commercial strategy, identify growth opportunities, and execute annual commercial plans covering revenue, margin and product performance. • Lead lending portfolio growth, pricing, and performance monitoring in line with risk appetite. • Head marketing, brand, product marketing and CRM, defining go‑to‑market plans and partnership initiatives. • Build governance frameworks for pricing, profitability and investment prioritisation. • Deliver performance management, MI and executive reporting, managing commercial risks. • Represent the division in board and governance forums; foster cross‑functional collaboration with Finance, Risk, Ops, Tech and Legal. Required Skills: Strategic product and marketing leadership; deep knowledge of digital and challenger banking ecosystems; strong analytical and data‑driven decision making; financial acumen (pricing, margin, ROI analysis); risk and regulatory awareness; partnership and ecosystem development; executive stakeholder management; leadership of cross‑functional teams; proficiency in product and project management tools; strong communication and presentation skills. Required Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Engineering or related field; professional certifications such as Certified Product Manager (CPM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or equivalent marketing/finance credentials preferred.
