**Job Title** Group Technical & Services Director **Role Summary** Provide executive leadership across technology, services, transformation, and marketing for a UK‑based print/ICT group. Own and drive group‑wide functions—Professional Services (Pre‑Sales, Technical Delivery, Client Success), Service Strategy & Design, Internal Systems & IT, Software Development, Data & MI, Vendor Management, Business Transformation, and Group Marketing. Blend CIO/CTO responsibilities with designing, delivering, and scaling IT services, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives and P&L ownership. **Expectations** - Senior strategist with proven commercial acumen; ideally owns a cost centre or full P&L. - Extensive leadership experience in professional services or technology‑centric organizations. - Deep expertise in IT, cyber security, cloud, ICT systems, service delivery, and transformation. - Strong background in service management (ITIL), operational governance, and vendor/partner relationships. - Excellent stakeholder influence, communication, and data‑driven decision‑making. - Track record of leading cross‑functional change and digital enablement in complex, customer‑centric environments. **Key Responsibilities** - Lead executive agenda for technology, services, transformation, and group marketing, reporting to Managing Director/GM. - Drive alignment between technology strategy, service design, and business objectives; ensure robust governance for internal IT, cyber security, service operations, and systems. - Oversee Pre‑Sales to deliver commercially sound, properly scoped solutions; manage Technical Delivery resources and quality. - Expand Client Success function to enhance value, renewals, and contract expansion. - Own service governance frameworks, standards, performance metrics; lead internal systems, software development, and IT operations for scalability and innovation. - Shape and execute the group’s Data Strategy; embed data governance, insights, and advanced analytics. - Strengthen vendor and partner relationships for maximum value, commercial benefits, and innovation. - Lead the group’s transformation roadmap; champion digital enablement, automation, and continuous improvement. - Co‑lead marketing strategy with Head of Marketing to build brand presence, demand generation, and align marketing with service‑led propositions. **Required Skills** - Executive leadership & strategic planning - Commercial management & P&L ownership - ITIL or equivalent service‑management framework - Cloud architecture, cyber security, ICT systems - Software development lifecycle & internal systems management - Data governance, BI/Microsoft Power BI, advanced analytics - Vendor & partner management - Change management & business transformation - Strong stakeholder influence & communication - Data‑driven decision making **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related discipline. - MBA or equivalent business leadership qualification preferred. - ITIL Foundation/Associate or higher (v4 preferred); PMP or Prince2 certification advantageous. - Relevant cloud or cyber security certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, CISSP) highly desirable.
