**Job Title:** AWS DevOps Lead
**Role Summary:**
Lead end‑to‑end AWS DevOps initiatives for remote, cross‑functional teams, driving infrastructure automation, continuous integration/delivery, and cloud monitoring across multi‑account environments.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 10 years of total professional experience, with 5+ years in AWS, 3+ years in DevOps within Agile/Scrum contexts.
- Proven track record designing and automating CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
- Adept at implementing monitoring dashboards (Splunk, CloudWatch) and real‑time alerting.
- Familiarity with multi‑account governance tools (Control Tower, SCPs, Guardrails, Transit Gateways).
- Strong business communication and collaborative skills across application, networking, security, and identity teams.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Architect and implement AWS infrastructure solutions using IaC (Terraform).
- Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines for software and infrastructure delivery.
- Configure and operate monitoring & observability stacks (CloudWatch, Splunk) to surface metrics, trends, and alerts.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in application dev, networking, security, IAM, and risk to design and deploy secure, compliant environments.
- Apply security and compliance frameworks (NIST, FISMA, FedRamp, Common Criteria) to infrastructure design.
- Support MLOps practices where applicable (SageMaker, Airflow, Looker, Trifacta).
**Required Skills:**
- Advanced AWS expertise (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, IAM, VPC, Transit Gateway).
- Terraform proficiency for defining and provisioning cloud resources.
- CI/CD toolchains (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CodePipeline, Argo CD) and automation scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Monitoring & log aggregation (Splunk, CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus).
- Security & governance tools (Control Tower, SCPs, Guardrails).
- Understanding of NIST, FISMA, FedRamp, Common Criteria, and relevant compliance controls.
- MLOps fundamentals (SageMaker, Airflow, Looker, Trifacta).
- Agile/Scrum methodology familiarity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (equivalent experience acceptable).
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, Security Specialty) strongly preferred.
