Job Description
**Job Title:** Business Analyst – Service Planning (SVC) **Role Summary:** The Business Analyst supports LG’s Service Planning team by monitoring KPIs, managing costs, and delivering analytical insights to improve post‑sales performance within the UK market. The position requires rigorous data analysis, cost control, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure service effectiveness and financial compliance. **Expectations:** - Produce accurate, timely KPI and business review reports. - Deliver cost analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to support service delivery. - Maintain service general ledger and ensure month‑end and year‑end financial closing. - Provide clear, actionable insights to senior management and relevant departments. **Key Responsibilities:** - Update and monitor weekly/monthly Service KPIs and Business Review Reports. - Manage moving plans, business plans, and cost‑controlling activities. - Improve processes and implement key controls/KPIs for performance tracking. - Support planning and re‑forecasting programmes. - Maintain service GERP ledger, accrue gaps, and process month‑end closings. - Conduct monthly service cost gap analysis by product group. - Prepare short‑ and long‑term SVC cost analyses and year‑end specific reports. - Manage outstanding invoices and reconcile accounts with factories in the Far East. - Collaborate with EUSVC, HQ, and other LG business units. - Perform ad‑hoc cost analysis reports and business‑expense budget control. - Review and implement process improvements; analyze team KPIs critically. **Required Skills:** - Intermediate to advanced proficiency in ERP systems, Excel, PowerPoint, and related IT tools. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to change. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred). - Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, or equivalent financial analysis credentials) are a plus.
