Job Title: Senior Social Media Executive
Role Summary:
Lead the planning, creation, and delivery of social media content for a major sports, entertainment, and lifestyle account. Drive engagement, community growth, and performance across Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, and Facebook, ensuring brand consistency and data‑driven optimisation.
Expectations:
- Deliver high‑quality, platform‑optimised content that aligns with channel objectives and brand voice.
- Manage community interactions to build a positive, active audience.
- Analyse performance metrics, report insights, and recommend actionable optimisations.
- Collaborate effectively with creatives, strategists, and account teams to meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute social media activity across key platforms (IG, TikTok, X, YouTube, FB).
- Produce captions, story/reel concepts, social‑first visuals, and basic motion assets; maintain brand consistency and platform best practices.
- Monitor and respond to community engagement; handle escalations and foster a welcoming community.
- Track and report on reach, engagement, video metrics, growth, and click‑through rates; translate data into optimisation actions.
- Keep abreast of platform updates, trends, and emerging formats; share insights to enhance output.
- Support campaign delivery: briefing, scheduling, approvals, and quality control.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in a social media role (agency or in‑house) with demonstrable content and community results.
- Strong copywriting and tone‑of‑voice execution.
- Proficiency in Canva or Adobe; basic motion editing skills a plus.
- Comfortable with analytics tools and performance reporting; data‑informed iterative mindset.
- Excellent organisation, reliability, and multitasking in fast‑paced environments.
- Cultural and audience‑centric approach; familiarity with sports, entertainment, or consumer goods beneficial.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- No specific certifications required, though familiarity with social media analytics platforms (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Brandwatch) is advantageous.
