**Job Title**
Technology Sales Director – BFSI Domain
**Role Summary**
Lead enterprise technology sales for the Banking, Financial Services & Insurance sector, driving new business acquisition, strategic account expansion, and positioning solutions in Digital Transformation, Cloud, Data & Analytics, AI/ML, and Application Services.
**Expectations**
- Achieve or exceed revenue targets for large, multi‑year technology deals.
- Build and maintain CXO‑level relationships and manage complex stakeholder environments.
- Lead end‑to‑end sales cycles and RFP/RFI processes, providing market intelligence to leadership.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Generate, qualify, and close new business opportunities across banking, fintech, insurance, and NBFC segments.
- Develop and execute growth strategies for key accounts, including cross‑sell and upsell initiatives.
- Position and sell technology services (cloud migration, digital engineering, core modernization, data platforms, AI/ML, cybersecurity) tailored to BFSI clients.
- Collaborate with pre‑sales, delivery, and practice teams to craft custom solutions.
- Lead pursuit teams during RFP/RFI stages and client presentations.
- Mentor junior sales staff and contribute to overall sales strategy.
**Required Skills**
- 15–25+ years of enterprise IT/technology sales experience with a focus on BFSI clients.
- Proven success closing large, complex, multi‑year deals and meeting revenue targets.
- Ability to engage C‑suite executives and navigate multi‑level decision‑making.
- Deep knowledge of BFSI industry challenges, regulatory environment, and digital transformation trends.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience with CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and data‑driven sales execution models.
**Preferred (but not mandatory) Qualifications**
- Background in IT services, consulting, or platform solutions sales.
- Exposure to offshore delivery models or Global Capability Centers.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies such as GenAI, FinTech platforms, Open Banking, and Data Governance.
