Job Description
**Job Title** Privacy Compliance Consultant **Role Summary** Lead and manage privacy initiatives, develop and enforce privacy policies, conduct impact assessments, and guide the organization on compliance with privacy laws and regulations. **Expectations** - 3–5+ years of experience in privacy or compliance roles. - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. - Strong verbal and written communication, with ability to influence senior stakeholders. - Analytical mindset and meticulous attention to detail. - Rapid adaptability in a dynamic environment. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Draft, implement, and update business privacy policies and procedures in line with applicable laws. 2. Act as a privacy subject‑matter expert, advising business units on privacy‑compliant systems and practices. 3. Lead privacy impact assessments across the organization. 4. Monitor compliance with privacy requirements in customer, contractor, supplier, and employee relationships. 5. Investigate data loss incidents, develop safeguards, and report findings. 6. Coordinate privacy‑focused training, communication, and awareness campaigns. 7. Evaluate privacy implications of emerging and existing technologies. 8. Manage consumer privacy rights requests (access, deletion, etc.) ensuring timely, accurate responses. 9. Prepare and maintain complex supporting documentation and reports. 10. Communicate complex privacy issues to management and regulatory bodies as needed. **Required Skills** - In‑depth knowledge of privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, DPA, etc.). - Policy development and implementation. - Risk assessment and mitigation. - Report writing and documentation standards. - Stakeholder engagement and influence. - Analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent written and oral communication. - Ability to work independently and as part of cross‑functional teams. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Law, Information Security, Business, or related field OR equivalent work experience. - Relevant privacy certifications (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPP/US, IAPP, or equivalent) are preferred but not mandatory.
