Job Description
**Job Title** Construction Specialist (12‑month contract) **Role Summary** Provide on‑site and project‑administrative support for construction initiatives across store, distribution, and office sites. Coordinate schedules, documentation, budget tracking, and vendor relationships to ensure projects meet timelines, quality, and safety standards. **Expactations** * Deliver accurate, timely project updates and documentation. * Maintain compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies. * Communicate effectively with contractors, landlords, internal teams, and suppliers. * Support the Project Manager in risk mitigation and issue resolution. * Foster a collaborative, customer‑driven work environment. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Coordinate and monitor project schedules, milestones, and deliverables. 2. Maintain and distribute accurate project documentation (drawings, permits, contracts, reports). 3. Prepare and distribute progress updates and meeting minutes. 4. Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely task execution. 5. Manage contractor/vendor performance against service quality KPIs. 6. Track budgets, costs, and assist with invoice processing and payment. 7. Coordinate with landlords for approvals and compliance. 8. Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies. 9. Support the Project Manager in resolving issues and mitigating risks. **Required Skills** * Strong organizational and time‑management abilities. * Proficiency with MS Office, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Procore. * Excellent written and verbal communication. * Knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations. * Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem‑solving skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. * Collaborative team player with adaptability. **Required Education & Certifications** * Diploma or degree in Construction Management or a related field. * Demonstrated 2–4 years of construction coordination or project administration experience. ---
