Responsible for ensuring high availability, optimal performance, and secure operation of network infrastructure for a health services organization. **Expectations** - Deliver a stable, secure, and efficient network environment within the contract term. - Meet agreed service‑level metrics for availability, performance, and security. - Provide clear documentation and knowledge transfer to the internal team. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Configure, deploy, and manage LAN, WAN, and wireless networks, including routers, switches, and access points. 2. Implement network security controls, encryption, and access‑control policies. 3. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly; document root causes and resolutions. 4. Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of network hardware and software. 5. Recommend and implement enhancements to improve network availability, performance, and security. 6. Monitor network performance; perform proactive tuning and corrective actions. 7. Maintain accurate configuration and inventory records. **Required Skills** - Proven experience with WAN, LAN, voice, data, video, and wireless network solutions. - Strong knowledge of network capacity planning, security principles, and best practices. - Hands‑on expertise in IP addressing, routing protocols, and OSI model concepts. - Proficiency with current network hardware and protocols: routers, switches, TCP/IP, MPLS, QoS. - Ability to analyze complex network problems and develop effective automated monitoring solutions. - Excellent documentation and communication skills. **Nice to Have** - Background or knowledge of healthcare industry networking requirements. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Professional networking certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Juniper Networks Associates/Professional, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Networking (or equivalents). - Security certifications (CCSP, CISSP, or equivalent) are preferred.
