Job title: North America Head of Infrastructure Investments Role Summary: Lead Mercer’s North American infrastructure investment strategy, managing co‑investment mandates, flagship US pop, client relationships, and infrastructure research across the region. Operate as a member of the Global Real Assets leadership team and Infrastructure Investment Committee. Expactations: Deliver growth of infrastructure portfolio, manage large co‑investment with public pension, launch new Vintage 9, represent Mercer on LPACs, grow client base, and lead a cross‑border team of 3‑5 staff. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as primary North America point person for infrastructure investment strategies. - Manage co‑investment mandate with US public pension and oversee flagship PIP US Infrastructure strategy. - Launch and support Vintage 9. - Represent Mercer on multiple LPAC seats covering major infrastructure managers. - Lead North American infrastructure fund research, ratings, and due diligence processes. - Source, diligence, and monitor 5‑10 primary co‑investments annually with asset management partners. - Collaborate with secondaries team to source and diligence 5‑10 secondaries each year. - Manage a team of 3‑5 across Canada and the USA. - Drive business development with client, commercial, and OCIO teams to expand relationships. Required Skills: - Extensive experience in infrastructure investment management (portfolio, co‑investment). - Proven leadership of cross‑location teams. - Strong relationships with top‑tier infrastructure managers and LPAC experience. - Deep knowledge of fund research, ratings, and due diligence. - Business development and client expansion expertise. - Ability to work in a global, cross‑border environment. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, MSc) preferred. - Professional certifications such as CFA, CAIA, or CPA considered an asset.
