Job Description: **Job Title:** Back End Developer **Role Summary:** Senior Backend Software Engineer responsible for architecting and developing highly scalable, fault‑tolerant microservices that process and serve real‑time geospatial data. Projects involve NestJS, Prisma, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, MQTT messaging, and containerized deployment. **Expectations:** - Design resilient, horizontally scalable architectures. - Deliver high‑performance APIs and services in a DevOps environment. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, build, and maintain NestJS microservices using TypeScript. - Model complex relational and geospatial data with Prisma ORM and PostgreSQL/PostGIS. - Implement real‑time data ingestion, processing, and delivery pipelines. - Optimize database queries, indexing, and PostGIS operations. - Deploy services in Docker or orchestrated container stacks. - Integrate MQTT messaging (Mosquitto, EMQX, etc.) for real‑time communication. - Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and performance tuning. **Required Skills:** - 8+ years of backend engineering experience. - Deep expertise in NestJS, TypeScript, and modern Node.js patterns. - Advanced proficiency with Prisma and PostgreSQL (including PostGIS). - Hands‑on experience with geospatial queries and geofencing logic. - Proven track record building real‑time systems in Dockerized microservice architectures. - Familiarity with MQTT protocols and broker implementations. - Strong debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Relevant certifications in Node.js, PostgreSQL, or cloud container services are preferred but not mandatory.
