**Job Title**: Senior WebMethod Developer
**Role Summary**:
Lead design, development, and maintenance of integration solutions on Software AG's webMethods Integration Platform. Develop and troubleshoot flow services, adapters, and Java services; configure and manage Integration Server, Broker, Trading Networks, MyWebMethods Server, and Deployer.
**Expactations**:
- Minimum 12 years of hands‑on experience with webMethods (v10.x or higher).
- Advanced knowledge of API design (WSDL, SOAP) and data transformation (XML/XSD, XSLT, EDI, ISO pain 20022, flat files).
- Proficiency in database interaction (Oracle DB) and JDBC.
- Mastery of messaging services (JMS, MQ, Kafka) and adapters.
- Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and source‑control integration.
- Experience with Process Optimization, BPM workflows, Optimization for Infrastructure, and CAF.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Design, code, and deploy webMethods components (flow services, adapters, Java services).
- Configure and administer Integration Server, Broker, Trading Networks, MyWebMethods, and Deployer.
- Transform and map data across multiple formats: XML, XSD, XSLT, EDI, ISO pain 20022, flat files.
- Implement messaging solutions using JMS, MQ, and Kafka.
- Integrate and query Oracle databases via JDBC adapters.
- Maintain version control within webMethods source‑control framework.
- Perform root‑cause analysis, resolve defects, and optimize runtime performance.
- Collaborate with business analysts on BPM and process‑optimization projects.
- Document architecture, design decisions, and operational procedures.
**Required Skills**:
- webMethods Integration Server (v10.x+), Broker, Trading Networks, MyWebMethods Server, Deployer.
- Flow service, JDBC, JMS, MQ, Kafka, and Java service development.
- XML/XSD, XSLT, EDI, ISO pain 20022, SOAP, WSDL, and flat‑file transformation.
- Oracle Database – schema design, query optimization, JDBC.
- Source‑control management within webMethods.
- Troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root‑cause analysis.
- Process Optimization, BPM workflows, Optimization for Infrastructure, CAF experience.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Software AG Certified Developer – webMethods (preferred).
