Job Description: **Job Title:** SAP Basis Team Lead **Role Summary:** Lead and manage a team of SAP Basis consultants while overseeing the design, installation, configuration, upgrade, and maintenance of SAP landscapes. Ensure optimal system performance, security, and reliability for client environments and drive project delivery within scope and schedule. **Expectations:** - Minimum 8 years of SAP Basis administration experience. - Proven leadership of technical teams. - Strong communication and stakeholder management. - Ability to stay current with SAP technology trends. **Key Responsibilities:** - Supervise, mentor, and evaluate SAP Basis consultants. - Plan and execute SAP system installations, configurations, upgrades, patches, and migrations. - Monitor performance, tune resources, and resolve technical incidents. - Implement security policies, backup, and disaster‑recovery procedures. - Coordinate with cross‑functional teams for SAP integration and project timelines. - Produce and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures. **Required Skills:** - Deep knowledge of SAP architecture, Basis administration, and HANA. - Expertise in system installation, configuration, upgrades, and migrations. - Advanced troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimization. - Familiarity with SAP security, data backup, and recovery. - Strong project management and leadership abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - SAP Basis certification preferred (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate – System Administration). - Additional certifications in SAP HANA, cloud platforms, or ITIL are a plus.
