Job Title: Business Analyst – Retail Solutions
Role Summary: Liaison between retail stakeholders and technology teams, translating business requirements into actionable specifications to design, validate, and deliver retail technology solutions.
Expectations: Provide accurate, complete user stories and functional specifications; ensure on‑time delivery of aligned solutions; travel to client sites up to 50%; demonstrate continuous improvement with an agile‑lean mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from retail, technology, and commercial stakeholders.
- Translate requirements into user stories, process flows, or functional specifications for developers and third‑party partners.
- Model existing processes, identify improvement opportunities, and promote lean/Agile solutions using BPMN, UML, and sequence diagrams.
- Support the design, development, and delivery of store systems, POS, supply chain, and digital platforms.
- Contribute to project planning, timelines, and scope management.
- Maintain up‑to‑date documentation and support materials for internal teams and clients.
- Collaborate across cross‑functional groups to align solutions with business goals.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years as a Business Analyst in retail, omnichannel, or e‑commerce environments.
- In‑depth knowledge of store operations, POS, promotions, inventory, and customer journey.
- Familiarity with ERP, CRM, and e‑commerce platforms.
- Proficiency with process modeling and data analysis tools (Jira, Confluence, Power BI, BPMN, UML, user stories).
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation abilities.
- Analytical, hands‑on, and proactive mindset.
- Understanding of Lean/Agile methodology.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Certifications such as CBAP, PMI‑PBA, or equivalent are a plus.
