Job Description

**Job Title:** Senior Consultant – ServiceNow CMDB Architect **Role Summary:** Architect and lead the design, implementation, and governance of the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) for an on‑site team in Westerville, Ohio. Ensure accurate IT asset and service mapping in alignment with ITIL best practices and data‑modeling standards. **Expectations:** - Work onsite daily in Westerville, Ohio (local candidates only). - W2 employment status; no visa sponsorship, third‑party, or C2C arrangements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and maintain CMDB architecture, data models, and CI relationships. - Lead CMDB implementation and integration with sources such as AD, Azure, databases, and discovery tools. - Establish data‑governance frameworks, CI lifecycle processes, and quality controls. - Produce and upkeep documentation, reports, and dashboards on CI status and relationships. - Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment. - Provide training and support on CMDB usage and best practices. - Monitor CMDB performance, identify data issues, and drive continuous improvement. **Required Skills:** - 8+ years experience designing and implementing ServiceNow CMDB or comparable data systems. - Strong grasp of ITIL processes and data modeling in relational databases. - Proficiency with ServiceNow modules (ITOM, ITSM, Discovery, etc.) preferred. - Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal abilities. - Ability to work independently and lead cross‑functional collaboration. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, ITIL Foundation) are a plus.
