Job Description: **Security Architect** **Role Summary** Design and implement secure technology architectures to safeguard enterprise data and infrastructure, align with security standards, and lead security strategy and compliance initiatives. **Expectations** Expertise in integrating security into infrastructure design, evaluating technology solutions, and leading high-risk project lifecycles from strategy to implementation. **Key Responsibilities** - Review project designs for compliance with security standards and frameworks. - Collaborate with Solution Architects to secure cloud, network, and endpoint integrations. - Redesign critical infrastructure, retire legacy systems, and implement secure technology upgrades. - Analyze security risks, recommend solutions, and prepare security guidance for technology platforms. - Advise on regulatory compliance, governance, and risk mitigation for enterprise-wide security. - Evaluate emerging technologies, security trends, and automation workflows like DevSecOps. - Lead incident management and resolve customer issues across teams. **Required Skills** - In-depth knowledge of ISO 27001 or equivalent security frameworks. - Proven experience with architecture methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, SABSA), IT design, and secure implementation of diverse technologies. - Leadership in full lifecycle solution architecture (strategy to management). - Expertise in DevSecOps automation and secure integration of cloud/solution architectures. - Strong analytical skills to assess environments, detect deficiencies, and recommend security improvements. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in technical field or equivalent professional experience (considered an asset). - Formal training in IT design methodology with relevant project experience (required). - Architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF, SABSA) considered an asset. - Project management course completion considered an asset.
