Dasro is looking for a Project Manager for one of its clients.
Location: Bolton, ON OR Winnipeg, MB (Hybrid Work Model)
Duration: February 2026 – February 2027 (Possibility of extension)
Job Summary
The Project Manager – GPMC will be responsible for supervising and managing General Plant Maintenance Capital (GPMC) projects related to process safety–critical equipment, including turbo compressor systems, auxiliary systems, and balance-of-plant equipment. This role will oversee multiple maintenance and upgrade projects to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory, safety, and corporate requirements across Canada.
The successful candidate will lead projects through influence and collaboration, working closely with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and contractors to deliver safe, cost-effective, and compliant project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage GPMC projects for process safety–critical equipment, including turbo compressors, auxiliary systems, and balance-of-plant equipment
Oversee maintenance and upgrade projects to ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and corporate standards
Manage project scope, schedule, cost, and risk, including budget control, change management, and variance reporting
Provide bi-weekly and monthly project performance updates, including schedule, cost, and risk metrics
Direct and manage the work of external consultants, vendors, and contractors
Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, understanding their expectations and technical contributions to ensure project success
Optimize and align field resources to support effective field execution
Identify opportunities for data integrity improvements and cost savings through program and project analysis
Support the development and implementation of project management tools, standards, and processes for regulated programs within Canada
Identify opportunities for value creation and efficiency improvements to reduce overall project costs
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree required
Preference for candidates with an engineering degree to support the technical nature of the role
Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
Experience with complex brownfield natural gas upgrade projects is highly desirable
Prior exposure to compressor station facilities and related equipment is strongly preferred
Technical Skills
Familiarity with project control and scheduling tools such as PIMS and MasterPlan
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Working knowledge of SAP is required
