Job Description

Job Title: Software Engineer – Market Access Developer Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance trading gateways and market data systems across multiple asset classes on Linux. Own the full development lifecycle from architecture to production support, and collaborate with traders, researchers, and external exchange partners. Expectations: Deliver robust, low‑latency solutions that integrate with exchanges and brokers; contribute to system upgrades, performance tuning, and disaster recovery. Engage with cross‑functional teams and maintain clear documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and implement scalable, multi‑threaded C++ components for market connectivity. - Integrate and upgrade gateways and broker interfaces, including FIX protocol handling. - Develop and maintain market data ingestion and distribution services. - Perform low‑latency optimization and performance profiling. - Collaborate with external partners on release and integration pipelines. - Provide production support, incident response, and root‑cause analysis. - Write clean, maintainable code and comprehensive unit/integration tests. Required Skills: - 5+ years of C++ development on Linux. - Strong Python scripting and automation experience. - Expertise in multi‑threaded and distributed system design. - Proven track record with trading gateways or market data platforms. - Knowledge of FIX protocol and financial market data standards. - Experience with low‑latency performance tuning. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., C++ Certified Professional, FIX Certification) are a plus.
