Job Description
Job title: Lead AI/ML Engineer (Computer Vision & GenAI) Role Summary: Lead AI/ML engineer overseeing computer vision and generative AI initiatives for a global sport and human performance product suite. Responsible for strategy, team leadership, pipeline development, and production deployment of high‑performance models that drive real‑time insights and automation. Expectations: - Provide technical leadership with direct reports. - Deliver production‑ready ML solutions that meet accuracy, latency, and scalability targets. - Drive AI/ML strategy and innovation across core products. - Stay abreast of cutting‑edge research and translate it into production features. - Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, engineering, and domain experts. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and refine computer vision models for 2D/3D pose estimation, video analysis, and biomechanics. - Apply generative AI techniques (synthetic data generation, video & code synthesis, intelligent agents) to enhance automation, scale, and personalization. - Design, build, and maintain end‑to‑end ML pipelines for large‑scale video processing on edge and cloud platforms. - Mentor and manage a small, specialized AI/ML team. - Define and execute the AI/ML innovation roadmap for the product suite. - Ensure robustness, real‑time performance, and continuous monitoring of deployed models. - Partner with biomechanical domain experts to convert raw data into actionable insights. - Lead MLOps practices, including model versioning, CI/CD, monitoring, and lifecycle management. Required Skills: - Proven technical leadership with experience managing a small team. - Deep expertise in computer vision and video‑based deep learning. - Hands‑on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, and Python ML frameworks. - Track record of deploying ML models to production environments. - Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and research teams. - Knowledge of generative AI models (GANs, diffusion models, large language models). - Familiarity with MLOps principles and lifecycle management. - Understanding of biomechanics, 3D pose estimation, or sports performance data is highly desirable. Required Education & Certifications: - MSc or PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
