Job Description: **Job Title:** Business Analyst – Healthcare IT / Health Analytics (Contract) **Role Summary** Supports health analytics initiatives through requirements gathering, business process analysis, health reporting, and system support for healthcare stakeholders. **Expectations** Minimum 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in healthcare IT, including 2+ years in operational health application support within Canadian health systems. Requires expertise in health analytics tools and stakeholder engagement. **Key Responsibilities** - Conduct requirements analysis, use case development, and gap analysis for health IT systems. - Facilitate stakeholder workshops, validate requirements, and document workflows. - Design health analytics dashboards, validate data, and ensure solutions align with clinical/operational needs. - Support EHR/CIS systems, track tasks in Jira, and develop training materials/system documentation. **Required Skills** - Hands-on experience with EHR/CIS systems, Jira, health analytics tools (Power BI, Cognos/Impromptu). - Proficiency in requirements documentation, process modeling, dashboard design, and system validation. - Strong stakeholder communication and training-material development capabilities. - **Preferred:** IIBA-CBAP/ECBA certification. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Health Sciences, or equivalent. - Minimum 5 years’ Business Analyst experience (healthcare domain preferred). - 2+ years supporting health applications in Canadian healthcare settings (e.g., Regional Health Authorities). - **Preferred:** Health IT certifications (e.g., IIBA-CBAP/ECBA).
