Connect VIP is seeking a skilled Business Analyst with hands-on experience in healthcare IT, Electronic Health Records (EHR), CIS systems, and Jira to support a critical health analytics initiative in New Brunswick. This role focuses on requirements gathering, business process analysis, health reporting, and system support for Regional Health Authorities and/or Provincial Health Departments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare applications, analytics reporting, and stakeholder engagement, with practical experience using CIS, Jira, and EHR systems. You will work closely with operational teams to define business and system requirements, develop dashboards, validate data, and ensure solutions meet clinical and organizational needs.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Health Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, including requirements gathering, use case analysis, detailed design, and development of documentation and training materials.
At least 2 years of experience supporting health applications in an operational setting within Canadian healthcare, such as Regional Health Authorities or Provincial Health Departments.
Strong experience in facilitating workshops, validating requirements, gap analysis, and documenting workflows and processes.
Hands-on experience with health analytics, reporting tools (Power BI, Cognos/Impromptu), dashboards, CIS, and EHR systems.
Experience with Jira for tracking requirements, tasks, and project status.
Experience preparing training materials, user guides, and system support documentation.
Business Analyst certifications (e.g., IIBA-CBAP, IIBA-ECBA) preferred.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Must be available to start in Fredericton, NB on the project start date.
