**Job Title:** Business Development Representative **Role Summary:** Accountable for initiating outbound sales activity, generating and qualifying leads, and scheduling discovery meetings for the sales and technical teams. Operates in a target‑driven environment, collaborating closely with marketing to convert campaign lists into qualified opportunities. **Expactations:** - Achieve monthly call and meeting‑booking targets. - Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date CRM records. - Progress to senior sales or account management roles within 12–18 months. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct outbound calls to prospects from marketing lists and internal database. - Engage decision‑makers in IT, operations, and procurement roles. - Deliver clear product introductions, manage objections, and qualify prospects. - Schedule and confirm discovery meetings for sales and technical teams. - Follow‑up on warm leads and nurture relationships for future opportunities. - Log all interactions, outcomes, and call metrics in the CRM. - Track conversion rates, call volumes, and booking metrics. - Provide feedback on lead quality and messaging to marketing. - Participate in regular training, coaching, and team reviews. **Required Skills:** - Confident telephone communication with engaging rapport. - Target‑focused, resilient, and positive attitude. - Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. - Comfortable with sales technologies and rapid learning of new tools. - Self‑motivated, proactive, and eager to develop sales expertise. - Experience (preferred) in sales, customer service, or call‑based roles; B2B or tech exposure advantageous. - Familiarity with CRM and outreach platforms is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Minimum of 1 year sales or customer‑engagement experience. - Any relevant degree or professional sales certification deemed desirable.
