**Job title** Commercial Engineer – Medical Equipment Sales **Role Summary** Responsible for driving sales of medical devices by building relationships with healthcare professionals, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions. Acts as a liaison between customers and product development, ensuring technical accuracy and customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle. **Expectations** - Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets. - Travel up to 4–5 days per week to meet clients and attend product demonstrations. - Maintain a 90 %+ customer satisfaction rating post‑sale. - Provide regular market intelligence to internal teams. **Key Responsibilities** - Cultivate and strengthen relationships with healthcare professionals and key decision‑makers. - Conduct needs assessments, product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for prospective clients. - Gather and relay user insights to product development for continuous improvement. - Draft, present, and negotiate technical proposals, quotations, and commercial offers. - Close deals and manage contract negotiations, ensuring contractual terms align with company policy. - Deliver post‑sale support, troubleshooting, and follow‑up to secure repeat business. - Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and innovations in medical technology to position offerings advantageously. **Required Skills** - Proven sales track record (≥2 years) in a technical or medical device environment. - Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication in both French and English. - Strong negotiation and closing skills. - Ability to translate technical details into client‑friendly language. - Comfortable traveling extensively. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (field of study flexible; business, engineering, or life sciences preferred). - No specific certifications required, but a sales or medical terminology certification is a plus.
