Software Engineering Manager
**Role Summary**
Lead and mentor a high‑performing engineering team to design, build, and maintain scalable ad‑tech platforms. Drive delivery excellence, cultivate engineering culture, and partner with product, UX, data, and commercial stakeholders to deliver robust, secure, and cost‑effective solutions that power real‑time advertising, campaign management, and audience targeting.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Coach, hire, and develop engineers across all levels; manage performance and career progression.
- Own hiring, onboarding, and long‑term development of team members.
- Own technical architecture decisions, ensuring alignment with business goals and user experience.
- Lead Agile ceremonies, foster continuous improvement, and maintain healthy team rituals.
- Enforce engineering discipline: TDD, code reviews, CI/CD, IaC, observability, security, cost‑efficiency.
- Monitor reliability, delivery velocity, and quality metrics; take corrective actions as needed.
- Champion inclusion, psychological safety, and sustainable ways of working.
- Collaborate closely with Product, UX, Data, and Commercial partners to deliver meaningful outcomes.
**Required Skills**
- Proven leadership of engineering teams in cloud‑native SaaS or ad‑tech environments.
- Deep understanding of full‑stack technologies (React/Next.js/TypeScript, Node.js, Python, serverless).
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL data stores (Postgres, DynamoDB) and AWS services (Lambda, CloudWatch, API Gateway, S3).
- Proficiency in IaC (Terraform) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, test automation, observability).
- Strong architectural judgment and ability to make data‑driven engineering decisions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and clear communication skills.
- Pragmatic, outcome‑focused mindset with a disciplined approach to continuous improvement.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Optional certifications in AWS, Agile (ScrumMaster, SAFe), or relevant dev‑ops practices are advantageous.
