**Job Title:** Chief of Staff to the CEO
**Role Summary:**
Serve as the CEO’s strategic partner and operational enabler, coordinating cross‑functional initiatives, driving company rhythm, and ensuring alignment between technical, commercial, and strategic priorities to accelerate decision‑making and execution.
**Expectations:**
Deliver clear, disciplined execution of high‑impact projects; maintain a cohesive organization rhythm; anticipate and mitigate risks; present unified narratives to investors, partners, and the board; support board communication and investor relations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Strategic Advisory & Executive Partnership** – Provide analysis, structured recommendations, and decision support on key strategic, commercial, technical, and organizational priorities.
2. **Operational Excellence & Company Rhythm** – Own leadership meeting cadence, sprint planning, demo days, OKRs, and board prep; document and communicate decisions, actions, and dependencies.
3. **Strategic Initiative Management** – Lead or oversee high‑priority cross‑functional initiatives (pilot deployments, partner engagements, techno‑economic projects, grant prep, due diligence).
4. **Cross‑Functional Coordination** – Act as conduit among technical, commercial, product, operations, and external teams; facilitate information flow and resolve misalignments.
5. **Board, Investor & Stakeholder Engagement** – Prepare investor updates, fundraising materials, board pre‑reads; maintain structured records of commitments and communications.
6. **Communications & Knowledge Management** – Draft/ refine CEO and leadership communications; build and maintain decision logs, project trackers, risk registers, and other knowledge‑management systems.
**Required Skills:**
- Strategic thinking and analytical rigor.
- Experience in end‑to‑end project or program management.
- Proven ability to navigate technical and commercial domains.
- Strong communication, written and verbal, with executive‑level clarity.
- Organizational skills – managing calendars, meetings, and documents at scale.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships across technical, commercial, and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data‑driven decision tools (OKR, risk register, KPI dashboards).
- Adaptability to start‑up pace and ambiguity.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Energy, or related field.
- Professional certifications in project management (PMP, Prince2, etc.) or strategic planning are a plus.
