Job title: Infrastructure Engineer
Role Summary: Build and maintain scalable, secure production infrastructure for a gas‑efficient, decentralized perpetuals exchange. Manage bare‑metal, cloud, networking, databases, Kubernetes, and blockchain nodes while ensuring high reliability, performance, and security.
Expectations: Deliver production‑grade infrastructure solutions, continuously monitor and optimize performance, enforce strict security practices, and lead cross‑functional collaborations to launch and scale platform features.
Key Responsibilities:
- Code, provision, and test infrastructure components in both dev and production environments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and scale infrastructure to meet performance and reliability goals.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
- Securely manage identity, access, and automation across cloud and on‑prem environments.
- Perform load and chaos testing, penetration testing, and other security assessments.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and ops teams to plan, launch, and optimize system features.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience building and operating secure, scalable backend systems.
- Deep knowledge of bare‑metal, cloud computing, networking, Kubernetes, and data pipelines.
- Proficient with relational, in‑memory, and time‑series databases.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD, GitOps, automation, and identity management.
- Expertise in performance tuning, load testing, and building fault‑tolerant architectures.
- Strong security background: chaos engineering, penetration testing, and cloud security best practices.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, or Kubernetes Administrator are desirable.
