Founding / Lead Backend Engineer | Stealth DEX |

Join the founding team building the first fully decentralized perpetuals exchange powered by a Central Limit Order Book (CLOB) on an EVM chain (Monad).

As Founding Backend Engineer, you’ll architect and implement the core systems connecting web and mobile clients to blockchain infrastructure. You’ll play a critical role shaping a gas-efficient, secure, and high-performance trading platform while setting engineering standards from day one.

You’ll design and oversee backend architecture connecting users to our decentralized exchange, lead on system performance, scalability and reliability, collaborate cross-functionally, and mentor engineers. You’ll also build and integrate data pipelines, APIs, and WebSocket services that form the foundation of our next-generation DEX.

We’re looking for someone with at least eight years of backend engineering experience, including three in a leadership role. You should have strong expertise in Go, Rust, or similar high-performance languages, and a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and databases. You’ll thrive in ambiguity, enjoy solving complex challenges, and be motivated by building something entirely new.

It’s a plus if you have experience with DeFi, DEXs, EVM, or Perpetuals, and if you’ve worked in fast-paced, early-stage startup environments.
