Job Description

**Job Title** Aftercare Coordinator (Maternity Cover) **Role Summary** Coordinate after‑care and defect resolution for a private‑rented housing portfolio, acting as the primary liaison between residents, developers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely issue resolution and high‑quality standards. **Expectations** - Minimum 12‑month contract, full‑time. - Work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑moving office environment. - Proactive, solution‑focused approach with strong customer service orientation. - Maintain accurate records and deliver clear reports to management. **Key Responsibilities** - Liaise with developers, consultants, and contractors throughout defect rectification periods. - Schedule and conduct site visits to assess resident‑reported issues. - Monitor contractor performance; raise escalations when required. - Manage end‑of‑defects inspection process and close‑out documentation. - Keep defect tracking systems and records current; generate regular status reports for the Aftercare Manager. **Required Skills** - Excellent verbal and written communication. - Strong organisational and time‑management abilities. - Proven stakeholder management and negotiation skills. - Ability to analyze issues, propose solutions, and follow through. - Competence with property management or CRM software and MS Office suite. - Professional, approachable demeanor with a customer‑centric focus. **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent. - Preferred: Degree or diploma in Property Management, Construction Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CSCS, NEBOSH, or customer service qualifications) are advantageous but not mandatory.
