Job Description
Job Title: Sporting Events Administrator – FTC Role Summary Provide administrative and relationship‑management support to sporting event fundraisers, ensuring high‑quality customer service, accurate data capture in Salesforce, and effective stewardship to maximise income and long‑term loyalty. Expectations * Deliver prompt, friendly service to supporters and volunteers. * Maintain accurate fundraising records and comply with current legislation and codes of practice. * Build and sustain supportive relationships with donors, suggesting suitable charity products. * Flexibly work unsociable hours and travel independently when required. Key Responsibilities * Respond to inquiries and manage emails for sporting events inbox. * Record and update fundraiser details in Salesforce; send thank‑you letters, certificates, and stewardship calls. * Assist the Sporting Event Manager and Officer with event planning: recruitment of places and volunteers, communications, marketing, and attendance. * Coordinate relationships with suppliers and logistics partners for event delivery. * Attend weekend events as needed to support operations. Required Skills * Excellent customer‑service orientation and telephone manner. * Proficiency with CRM/database systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). * Strong written and verbal communication. * Outstanding organisational ability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently. * Team player with the flexibility to work outside normal hours and travel. * Enthusiastic and professional demeanor, capable of inspiring supporters. Required Education & Certifications * Minimum UK secondary education or equivalent. * Demonstrated experience in a customer‑service role and in fundraising or charity work. * Knowledge of UK fundraising legislation and codes of practice is desirable.
