Job Title: Salesforce Solution Architect
Job Description: Job Title: Salesforce Solution Architect Role Summary: Design, deliver, and evolve scalable Salesforce solutions for municipal and public sector clients, focusing on Service Cloud and Public Sector Solutions to address government service challenges. Expactations: • 8+ years of Salesforce development and architecture experience. • Proven delivery of complex, multi‑stakeholder projects in public sector environments. • Technical authority able to translate business needs into scalable, secure architecture. Key Responsibilities: • Design and implement end‑to‑end Salesforce solutions for 311, licensing, permitting, inspections, workforce management, and citizen engagement. • Build data models, automation (Flows), security models, and UI designs that meet municipal compliance standards. • Lead integrations with GIS, finance, document management, and third‑party APIs. • Conduct discovery workshops, architecture reviews, and technical design sessions with stakeholders. • Establish development standards, enforce best practices, and govern quality, security, and accessibility (WCAG/AODA). • Develop reusable accelerators, patterns, and deployment frameworks to improve efficiency. • Mentor technical teams and keep up to date with Salesforce releases and emerging technologies. Required Skills: • Salesforce Certifications – Application Architect and/or System Architect (preferred). • Hands‑on expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, SOQL/SOSL, and platform configuration. • Integration experience via REST, SOAP, or middleware. • Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills. • Public sector or municipal experience and understanding of governance processes. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. • Salesforce Certified Application Architect and/or System Architect.
