At the Anne Robson Trust, we believe that no one deserves to die alone. Everyone should have the support to prepare for the end of life and the comfort and companionship they wish for as they die. We work to support people facing the end of life, whether their own or that of someone dear. Our work includes: Supporting hospitals to set up and run teams of end of life ‘End of Life Volunteers’ to provide bedside companionship to patients in their final weeks or days, and emotional support to the patients’ visitors. Enabling honest and open conversations about the end of life and the ways in which families can prepare for it, via our workshops. Sharing useful resources to help plan for the end of life.

Job Description
Job Title: Project Officer Role Summary: Provide proactive administrative and coordination support to the Head of Healthcare Partnerships & Development and the broader Healthcare team, ensuring smooth operation of volunteer services, partner engagements, data management, training delivery, and project communications. Expectations: - Attend 3 days per week (part‑time, hybrid) with reliability and professionalism. - Demonstrate strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and problem‑solving ability. - Communicate effectively in written and verbal form. - Maintain confidentiality and uphold organisational standards. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the Head’s diary, inbox, document retrieval, and meeting preparation. - Coordinate partner and coordinator schedules; track timelines; update stakeholders. - Administer volunteer and service record keeping, onboarding, and day‑to‑day coordination. - Collect monthly service data, maintain spreadsheets, produce summaries and dashboards. - Organise training and induction logistics; update materials; support post‑session evaluation. - Contribute to projects and communications: research, tracker upkeep, slide decks, partner updates. Required Skills: - Advanced organisational and time‑management abilities. - Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and digital collaboration tools. - Strong written and verbal communication. - Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines. - Analytical mindset for data collection and reporting. - Collaborative and proactive attitude in a team environment. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration, communications, or related field. - No mandatory certifications; relevant experience in administrative or project coordination roles preferred.
