**Role Summary**
Contract technical recruiter responsible for full‑cycle talent acquisition for backend engineering positions (Scala, Java, Python, Node.js) and AI/ML engineering roles at a high‑growth enterprise SaaS platform. - Communicate with stakeholders across US and Lisbon, Portugal offices.
- Adhere to East Coast core hours (or equivalent flexibility).
**Key Responsibilities**
- Source, screen, and interview backend engineers, focusing on JVM stack (Scala/Java) with additional knowledge of Python and Node.js.
- Manage end‑to‑end hiring lifecycle: requisition creation, job posting, outreach, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
- Build reusable pipelines for each skill set, leveraging AI/ML recruiting techniques for multi‑agent/LLM‑adjacent teams.
- Partner with hiring managers for skill‑level differentiation (Principal vs Staff+) and maintain cadence on feedback loops.
- Track and report hiring metrics (time‑to‑fill, offer acceptance rate, diversity, etc.) to senior talent leadership.
- Ensure compliance with EEO and privacy standards, preserving candidate and company confidentiality.
**Required Skills**
- 1–3 years of technical recruiting experience in a SaaS organization, preferably 200–1000 employees.
- Proven success sourcing backend engineers, with strong knowledge of JVM stack (Scala/Java) and familiarity with Python/Node.js.
- AI/ML recruiting experience a significant advantage, particularly for multi‑agent and LLM‑adjacent teams.
- Ability to distinguish nuanced engineering roles from job descriptions without extensive manager input.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and calibration skills.
- High‑autonomy, scrappy mindset, and ability to thrive in ambiguity.
- Availability to work during East Coast core hours; comfortable coordinating across time zones.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Recruitment certifications (e.g., AIRS, LinkedIn Certified Recruiter) are welcome but not mandatory.
