Job Title: Director of Sales Marketing
Role Summary:
Lead and execute the full sales cycle for OwlOps’ operations software targeting multi‑unit restaurants and other multi‑location operators in the U.S. Build and maintain a robust outbound pipeline, close new business, and drive ongoing account expansion while establishing repeatable sales processes and collateral.
Expectations:
- Generate and manage a high‑volume outbound pipeline.
- Consistently close new multi‑unit accounts and expand existing ones.
- Deliver fast, persistent follow‑up and maintain a disciplined sales cadence.
- Represent the company at trade shows, converting leads into sales.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to refine messaging, create collateral, and improve sales/marketing workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect new multi‑unit restaurant, franchise, and retail accounts via cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn.
- Conduct product demos, address objections, and negotiate contracts to secure new subscriptions.
- Persistently follow up on leads and opportunities, using CRM to log interactions and forecast accurately.
- Prepare for, attend, and actively convert trade‑show leads with immediate post‑event follow‑up.
- Build and document repeatable outreach and follow‑up systems, including pipeline stages and forecasting models.
- Develop and refine messaging, create simple assets (flyers, one‑pagers, LinkedIn outreach) in Canva or similar tools.
- Partner with marketing, product, and customer success to align sales strategy, messaging, and onboarding processes.
- Track, report, and analyze sales metrics, adjusting tactics to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Required Skills:
- Proven pipeline generation and outbound prospecting in B2B SaaS.
- Strong closing skills with disciplined, timely follow‑up.
- Comfort and proficiency on the phone and with digital outreach.
- Familiarity with the restaurant franchise ecosystem (franchisees, ops teams, vendors, store managers).
- Experience selling to franchises, QSR, hospitality, c‑stores, or multi‑location retail.
- Trade‑show selling experience.
- Ability to produce clean, simple collateral (Canva, PowerPoint).
- Self‑directed, organized, results‑driven, and comfortable building systems from scratch.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Sales certifications (e.g., Certified Inside Sales Professional, HubSpot Sales Software, Salesforce) are a plus but not required.
