**Job Title:** CTO Associate / Technical Architect – FinTech Marketplace
**Role Summary:**
Senior technology leader tasked with defining, designing, and building a secure, scalable marketplace platform for high‑value financing. Partner directly with the founding CEO to shape the technical vision from inception through a demonstrable MVP, without an initial employment contract.
**Expectations:**
- 8–10 years of experience crafting large‑scale, from‑scratch platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to balance architecture, speed, and business value.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: ownership, long‑term value creation, and willingness to start without upfront salary.
- Bilingual: professional proficiency in English (written & spoken).
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define global architecture, technology stack, and engineering roadmap.
- Build core marketplace platform: data layer, APIs, UI, integration engines, and orchestration logic.
- Ensure security, reliability, and scalability through best practices and dev‑ops automation.
- Deliver a credible, defensible MVP for stakeholder validation.
- Lead technical decisions, mentor the engineering team, and set coding standards.
- Coordinate with product, compliance, and partner stakeholders to align technical deliverables.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong architectural design, patterns, and cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) expertise.
- Experience with microservices, event‑driven architecture, and API management.
- Knowledge of data modeling, ETL, and real‑time data pipelines.
- Deep understanding of security controls, identity, and regulatory compliance for financial services.
- Agile / lean product development experience.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and partnership building.
- Remote collaboration proficiency.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Certifications in cloud architecture, security, or product management are advantageous but not mandatory.
