Job Title: Director of Information Technology Role Summary: Lead the IT function to align technology strategy with business objectives, driving innovation, budget stewardship, and operational excellence while managing a diverse team of technology professionals. Expectations: • Deliver a long‑term strategic IT plan that supports organizational goals. • Maintain fiscal responsibility and achieve annual budget targets. • Serve as the primary liaison for client and vendor relationships. • Champion best‑practice security, risk management, and business continuity. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute comprehensive IT strategic business plan. • Lead personnel management, mentorship, and performance review processes. • Oversee the selection and procurement of IT capital investments and services. • Establish and enforce network security and IT governance standards. • Act as first point of contact for customer/client solutions and vendor SLAs. • Manage annual IT budget development, approval, and execution. • Coordinate IT project management for new technology/system implementations. • Govern enterprise‑wide systems (e.g., Atlas, MS SQL) and ensure scalability. • Direct helpdesk and support operations, including workflow metrics. • Apply change management principles to drive IT best practices. • Perform risk management, policy development, and business continuity oversight. • Conduct needs analysis for departmental IT requirements and propose solutions. Required Skills: • Strategic leadership and executive communication. • Expertise in software/hardware architecture and systems analysis (SDLC). • Strong knowledge of network security and enterprise‑wide system management. • Project management and vendor negotiation experience. • Budget development, financial controls, and cost optimization. • Team building, coaching, and performance management. • Knowledge of transportation logistics and healthcare operations. • Proficiency in database administration (MS SQL) and platform governance (Atlas). • Adaptability, problem‑solving, and change management.
