Job title: Production Coordinator Role Summary: Coordinate all phases of short‑form video production, from planning through post‑production, ensuring projects meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards. Expectations: - Deliver content on time and within agreed scope. - Maintain clear, professional communication with internal teams, clients, contributors, and crew. - Exhibit strong organizational, technical, and problem‑solving skills. Key Responsibilities: - Forge production schedules, content briefs, and preparation materials. - Arrange locations, sets, props, and equipment; prepare risk assessments, consent and release forms, and checklists. - Attend shoots to support set build, technical readiness, and time management; enforce health & safety protocols. - Serve as the central liaison among contributors, crew, and clients during production. - Manage hand‑offs to editors, coordinate revisions, and track approval cycles. - Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track. - Uphold consistent production standards; update documentation and asset tracking. - Contribute to workflow improvements, including AI‑assisted production tools. Required Skills: - Experience in media or content production environments. - In‑depth knowledge of production workflows, on‑set and post‑production. - Technical familiarity with cameras, lighting, audio, and production setups. - Proven ability to coordinate multiple concurrent projects. - Exceptional organizational detail orientation. - Clear verbal and written communication for stakeholders and external contributors. - Strong troubleshooting and proactive issue anticipation. Desired Skills: - Background as a content creator or production professional. - Expertise in short‑form, digital‑first video content. - Familiarity with education‑sector or adjacent organizations. - Interest in modern production workflows and emerging technologies. Required Education & Certifications: - No specific degree or certification required; equivalent experience acceptable.
