**Job Title** Software Sales Agent (Onboarding + Demos) **Role Summary** First human point of contact for new customers. Conducts onboarding walkthroughs, delivers product demos, answers sales and technical questions, guides customers to suitable plans, and documents feedback to improve onboarding and product experience. **Expectations** - Conduct new‑customer onboarding calls and product demos. - Explain product features, use cases, pricing, and workflows to non‑technical users. - Manage inbound lead‑initiated calls and on‑demand support sessions. - Guide users to appropriate plans based on goals and usage. - Follow up with stalled or inactive users. - Capture and share common issues and questions with product and engineering teams. - Track call outcomes and use feedback to enhance conversion and retention. **Key Responsibilities** - Run onboarding calls to set up new customers quickly. - Host product demos and respond to pre‑sales inquiries. - Educate users on maximizing tool results. - Handle scheduled, on‑demand support calls. - Recommend plans aligned with user objectives. - Follow up on user activity and activation status. - Document recurring questions and suggest onboarding improvements. - Record Loom‑style walkthroughs when needed. - Schedule and log calls using Calendly, HubSpot/Salesforce, and internal trackers. - Maintain organized notes, follow‑ups, and CRM updates. **Required Skills** - Strong spoken English and excellent communication. - Confident in running structured, calm calls with customers. - Ability to explain software clearly to non‑technical audiences. - Comfortable answering sales questions without pressure. - Rapid response and high follow‑through. - Organized with scheduling, note‑taking, and follow‑up management. - Ownership mindset: solves problems proactively. - Prior experience: SaaS onboarding, customer success, sales development, or support roles. **Required Education & Certifications** - Relevant education or experience in SaaS customer‑facing roles; specific degree or certifications not mandatory.
