Job Description
**Job Title:** Operations Intern **Role Summary** Support organizational operations initiatives under the guidance of the Chief Operations Officer (COO) at a nonprofit serving individuals with developmental disabilities. Focus on process coordination, project management, and administrative support to enhance operational efficiency. **Expectations** Commit minimum of 16 hours/week for 10–12 weeks during academic semesters (summer fall or winter). Hybrid format requiring in-person hours in Concord, NH. **Key Responsibilities** - Research operational tools/software to improve organizational efficiency. - Coordinate committee meetings, document process changes, and track action items. - Streamline workflows by creating standardized processes, Excel trackers, and identifying bottlenecks. - Contribute to compliance through internal audits and data reviews. - Manage projects in client data, provider documentation, emergency/disaster planning, or cybersecurity. - Analyze regulations and update internal policies to align with federal/state requirements. **Required Skills** - Foundational understanding of operations, project management, or business administration. - Experience in cross-functional collaboration and process improvement. - Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. - Adaptability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail. - Interest in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and nonprofit operations. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current undergraduate/graduate student or recent graduate (within 12 months). - Preferred field of study: Business Administration, Operations, Public Administration, or related discipline. - Familiarity with DocuSign or database systems beneficial.
