**Job Title:** Senior Business Development Manager **Role Summary:** Drive market penetration and revenue growth for a commercial furniture brand in the London market by building and managing senior‑level relationships with architects, designers, design‑&‑build firms, and dealers. Influence project specifications, ensure successful delivery, and provide market insights to shape product and commercial strategy. **Expectations:** - Leverage an established network in architecture, design, and dealer channels to increase brand share. - Represent the company credibly across commercial office interiors and related sectors (hospitality, higher education). - Deliver a six‑figure OTE aligned with performance and impact. - Collaborate with internal teams to align specifications, delivery, and strategy. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and nurture senior relationships with architects, designers, design‑&‑build practices, and key influencers in London. - Position the brand as a preferred furniture partner throughout the specification and procurement process. - Work with internal project teams to secure specification wins and ensure on‑time, on‑budget project delivery. - Act as the primary brand ambassador in the London market, presenting a clear point of view and building trust. - Capture and relay market feedback to inform product development and commercial strategy. - Identify new business opportunities across office, hospitality, and higher‑education sectors. **Required Skills:** - Proven track record in relationship‑driven, specification‑led business development for commercial interiors. - Strong existing network of senior architects, designers, and design‑&‑build firms in London. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities. - Deep appreciation for design and the built environment. - Ability to translate market insights into actionable business recommendations. - Self‑motivated, collaborative, and able to operate autonomously from the Clerkenwell showroom base. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field (preferred). - Relevant professional certifications or training in sales, business development, or interior design are advantageous but not mandatory.
