The London Museum tells the ever-changing story of this great world city and its people, from 450,000 BC to the present day. Our galleries, exhibitions, displays and activities seek to inspire a passion for London and provide a sense of the vibrancy that makes the city such a unique place.

The museum at Docklands is open daily 10am – 5pm and is FREE to all.

Job Description

Job Title: Digital Production Officer Role Summary: Coordinate and support Digital Product Managers in delivering a digital transformation programme for a new museum opening. Manage project tasks, timelines, communications, and digital platform operations, ensuring effective use of project management and CMS tools and accurate financial oversight. Expectations: - Well‑organised, creative problem‑solver with strong attention to detail. - Proven ability to collaborate across multiple workstreams and deliver on tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate project tasks, set and monitor timelines, and maintain clear communication across teams. - Support the management, upkeep, and optimisation of digital platforms and website content. - Administer financial tasks including budget tracking, expense reporting, and cost control. - Utilize project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana) to plan, track, and report on progress. - Liaise with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and resolve issues. - Ensure documentation of procedures, decisions, and outcomes is accurate and up‑to‑date. Required Skills: - Experience with project management software (Jira, Asana, similar). - Knowledge of website content management systems (CMS). - Financial administration and budget monitoring proficiency. - Strong organisational and communication skills. - Creative, analytical problem‑solving mindset. - Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Required Education & Certifications: - No specific degree or certification required; relevant experience in digital production, project management, or a related field is preferred.
