Job title: IT Project Manager Azure
Role Summary: Leads end‑to‑end planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise Azure infrastructure migration, ensuring secure, scalable, multi‑environment deployment (development, staging, production) via Azure Front Door and a corporate portal.
Expactations:
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and per defined scope.
- Maintain enterprise security, compliance, and governance standards throughout the lifecycle.
- Effectively manage stakeholder expectations and drive continuous improvement of Azure designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full project life cycle for Azure platform migration, from requirements gathering to post‑deployment validation.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and partners to define scope, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Design and implement Azure Front Door for secure, high‑availability global access.
- Monitor progress, mitigate risks, and resolve issues to ensure uninterrupted platform operations.
- Prepare status reports, post‑migration documentation, and present findings to senior leadership.
- Identify opportunities to optimize performance, scalability, and cost efficiency of the Azure environment.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of IT infrastructure project management experience, 3+ years focused on Azure.
- Proven track record of designing and migrating enterprise‑level Azure platforms with multiple environments.
- Deep knowledge of Azure services (Front Door, networking, security, resource management).
- Proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project methodologies and tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.).
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical and operational challenges rapidly.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Azure certification(s) preferred (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator).
