**Job Title** Product Manager, Physical Products Lifecycle **Role Summary** Own the complete post‑concept lifecycle of physical products—from launch through end‑of‑life—ensuring alignment across product, marketing, sales, and operations. Drive commercial results, optimize inventory, and build scalable processes that enable rapid, data‑driven decision making. **Expectations** - High‑impact leadership with direct influence on product performance and business outcomes. - Deliver clear visibility to executive teams; maintain product momentum and manage risks proactively. - Build and sustain strong vendor/partner relationships. - Foster repeatable, cross‑functional processes that accelerate product delivery and lifecycle decisions. **Key Responsibilities** 1. **Lifecycle Management & Product Strategy (30%)** - Own launch execution, performance monitoring, and end‑of‑life decisions. - Act as product advocate; align Brand, Marketing, Sales, and Operations. - Analyze inventory/performance data to identify repositioning or exit opportunities. - Prioritize investments, relaunches, or discontinuations with a commercial lens. - Manage third‑party vendor and manufacturer relationships; set performance metrics. 2. **Project & Cross‑Functional Management (30%)** - Lead cross‑functional initiatives (relaunches, repositioning, lifecycle transitions). - Translate insights into actionable plans; coordinate teams toward shared outcomes. - Create, refine, and scale repeatable product and operational processes. - Serve as main coordination point for priority shifts or challenges. 3. **Product Launch Pipeline (15–20%)** - Lead Product Launch Taskforce; ensure on‑time launches and clear accountability. - Facilitate launch working sessions; align teams on milestones. - Identify and mitigate launch risks; communicate issues promptly. 4. **Data, Insights & Decision Support (15–20%)** - Generate actionable insights from product, inventory, and market data. - Test assumptions; support trade‑off decisions with analytics. - Incorporate competitive and market trends into product strategy. 5. **Leadership, Culture & Values (5%)** - Model organizational values in collaboration and communication. - Maintain proactive transparency, especially when timelines are at risk. **Required Skills** - Product lifecycle management for physical consumer products. - Cross‑functional project leadership and coordination. - Data analytics: trend analysis, KPI tracking, performance monitoring. - Vendor/partner management; contract negotiation and performance metrics. - Commercial acumen: ROI assessment, prioritisation, budget oversight. - Process design and improvement. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influence skills. - Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive structure in evolving environments. - Risk identification and mitigation in product launches. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Product Design, or related field. - Product management certifications (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, AIPMM, Scrum) are a plus but not mandatory.
